The City of Joy : Kolkata 24 x 7
Kolkata, WB, India (2007)
CALCUTTA (now Kolkata) of Eastern India - today's "City of Joy" - was a silent fishing village three centuries back.
Ever since then she has advanced through the ages. Today a booming metropolis surrounded by endless problems like poverty and corruption, she is India's one of most ironic, interesting and colorful cities.
The (previous) project Time out of Mind, which I have ventured to extend to The City of Joy : Kolkata 24 x 7, reflects a handful of images that you would come across everyday, if you took a stroll around the city just for nothing.
